白叶村是德化县杨梅乡下辖的行政村，位于乡域西部，北面与尤溪县交界，村落处于中山区的狭长溪谷之中，海拔710米，距乡政府3.7公里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

相传村中从前白鹭成群，当地人称之为白鹤，村名由此而来，又雅称“白叶”。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，此地属常平乡杨梅中团；清代归梅中里管辖；民国时期编为白叶保。[1]

1951年划入和平乡，1952年设白叶乡，公社化时改设白叶大队。1961年至1976年7月，杨梅公社驻于本村。1984年改制，设白叶村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村内有高岭土、黄金等矿产资源。农业仍是主业，稻谷和甘薯为主要粮食作物，山货有毛竹、茶油和笋干。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中现存清代窑址四处，分别是下坂窑、仑仔边窑、牛头尾山窑和荣福堂后山窑。[2]
