斜山村在美湖镇的西北部，四周分别与阳山村、洋田村、美湖村以及大田县的济阳乡接界，距县城25公里。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

旧传此地谢姓人家居多、其他姓氏较少，故称谢山，后谐音写作斜山。[1]

明代此地归进城乡下的小尤中团管辖，清代则在尤中里的山坪社之内。民国初年的建制仍承袭清朝，1935年设斜山保，隶属第四区济屏乡，随后并入上田保，改隶双阳乡。1950年，此地改属第五区美湖镇；1961年另设斜山大队，归美湖公社；1984年改设斜山村委会，属美湖镇。[1]

据百度百科，2021年常住人口为162人，其中60岁以上的人占32%。[4]博雅地名网另载村中陈姓313户1292人，未注年份。[1]

全村土地总面积7.73平方千米，其中耕地731亩，林地3000亩。[1][2]

村民除种植水稻、甘薯外，以养殖业为主要经济来源。[1]

2012年普查登记的斜山鼎构堂和斜山长兴宫（位于祖厝邱）均为清代建筑，属一般不可移动文物。[3]
