林地村位于盖德镇西部，与大墘村、美湖乡相邻，地形以山地为主，林地溪穿村而过，村域面积6.66平方千米，辖10个自然村。村又称宴林口、上林口、暗林口，因林姓人居住而得名林地，为德化五口林之一。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

北宋时期，林携兄弟五人因避乱自永泰洑口各自分散。林携来到此地，见林木葱郁，便以「口」字为号，称暗林口，后又称宴林口、上林口。新中国成立后设林地乡，现称林地村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宴林口桥是廊屋式木构桥，以石砌基座承托桥身，别名上林桥、暗林口桥、通仙桥。全长27.3米的此桥，建成于清乾隆四十七年（1782年）。桥北侧附建的迎仙宫始建于北宋治平年间。1904年一场洪水冲毁此桥，后由乡民林仁礼主持重建。1947年7月，戴云纵队在此遭国民党县自卫队伏击，双方在桥一带激战。该桥1988年5月公布为县级文物保护单位；2017年因彭村水库建设，桥梁处于库区淹没范围，开始整体迁移。[1][3][4]

林地村于2022年11月获得「2022年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」称号。[2]
