吾华村位于盖德镇西北部，村部设在吾华口，地处海拔约950米的山区，离德化县城约19公里，村域面积14.02平方千米。村旧称五华，因先祖建造五华寺而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋、明时期，此地归集贤乡永丰里；清朝时划入在坊里上林社，民国初期仍沿用清代的设置。1944年，此地隶于锦福乡上林保；1951年划入第一区林地乡，1952年归第八区，1956年隶浔中区。1958年设吾华大队，属浔中公社；1961年改归盖德公社；1984年改设吾华村委会，隶属盖德镇。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

吾华寺为县级文物保护单位，村中另有卓笔峰等自然景观。[2][3]

著名人物[edit]

据村情页所载，清康熙年间的林孔觉曾在江西吉安任都督将军；解放初期参加抗美援朝战役的林其明曾立一等功。[3]

荣誉[edit]

吾华村在2022年11月获评2022年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[2]
