盖德村是盖德镇人民政府所在地，位于德化县西南部，距县城约6公里，海拔550米，村域面积5.61平方千米。宋元时期此地以瓷业著称，今为镇中心区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，此地实行保甲制度，设大德保。德化县在1949年11月24日解放，盖德村随之解放，并建立村委会、开展土地改革。1950年起，村隶属浔中镇锦福乡，此后历经公社、大队等建制变化。1984年，大队改为村委会，归盖德镇管辖。[4]

文物古迹[edit]

村内的盖德古瓷窑址是屈斗宫德化窑址的组成部分，窑址与昭灵宫同被列为县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]
