盖德镇位于福建省泉州市德化县西南部，东面与浔中、龙浔两镇相接，西南与永春县为邻，镇政府驻盖德村。2012年撤销盖德乡建制后设为镇，全镇辖14个行政村。[1][2][5]

镇内有屈斗宫德化窑址的一部分窑址，还有若干处县级文物保护单位，宋元古瓷窑和清代寨堡都是这里历史的见证。[2][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

盖德一带古称尚苑，宋元时期黄氏世居于此、以制瓷闻名，有「上碗」之称。明正统十三年（1448年），来自泉州的李仕钦入赘黄家，接续其制瓷产业，立誓「欲盖斯德」，地名遂改为盖德，别称大德，俗称薄德。[2]

唐代这一带属归德场。宋至明代，此地在集贤乡永丰里之内；天顺六年（1462年），该里并入归德乡坊隅。清代此地归在坊里上林社。1933年民国政府设区，锦福乡改隶浔中，成为第一区的组成部分。1956年，原属第八区的盖德划入浔中区，1958年并入浔中公社，1961年6月析出另立盖德公社。1984年9月，公社改设为盖德乡；2012年9月撤乡设镇。[4]

盖德镇曾获「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号，授予单位为环境保护部，时间是2012年12月。2021年2月，盖德镇又进入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇政府驻地盖德村海拔550米，距德化县城约6.3公里。镇域山峰耸立，寨堡成群，全乡旧有古寨堡17个，多建于清代，至今大部分保存较好。气候属亚热带海洋性季风气候。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

截至1999年年末的统计，全乡户数为4912，人口为20408，此外旅居海外的华侨、华裔及港澳台同胞七千余人。截至2019年末，镇户籍人口为21731人。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

屈斗宫德化窑址是镇内的全国重点文物保护单位。1988年1月13日，国务院将它定为第三批全国重点文物保护单位，其范围跨龙浔、浔中、三班和盖德等乡镇，盖德境内有宋元时期窑址6处。[6][7]

镇内其他县级文物保护单位有昭灵宫、圣天宫、济虹格桥、金液洞、宴林口桥、凤山儒山祠、德化文峰塔、吾华寺和上坑革命烈士墓等，分见各村条目。[2]
