邱村位于福建省泉州市德化县葛坑镇东部，与下玲村、漈头村相邻，村庄地势较高，海拔860米。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

明代，吴氏后人迁居此地，遂取村名「邱村」。村名原称「科山」，1944年改为邱村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年改属葛坑公社，当年设邱村大队。1984年改称邱村村，2000年随乡改镇，成为葛坑镇邱村村。[1]

人口与姓氏[edit]

一支祖先自仙游、莆田迁来的黄氏，于1491年迁至此村，至今已500多年。[2]

1999年末，全村共210户，人口837人，男性422人，女性415人，均为汉族。全村共5个自然村，设5个村民小组。[1]
