葛坑村位于福建省泉州市德化县北部，是葛坑镇的中心村，旧时为葛坑乡的驻地，村内有通往尤溪县的道路。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自坑沟两侧长满葛藤的景象，村中又盛产葛薯，因此别称葛水、葛坡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传后汉乾祐二年（949年），这里从尤溪县改归德化县。宋明两代，村地属常平乡杨梅中团，清康熙十八年（1679年）起归入梅中里。[1]

民国时期此地设葛坑保。新中国成立后，1950年划入第四区，1958年成立大队，1984年改称葛坑村。2000年随乡改镇，村名成为葛坑镇葛坑村。[1]

自然环境[edit]

村域土地总面积9.48平方千米，海拔860米，地势西北高、东南低。[1][2]

人口与姓氏[edit]

1999年末，全村共840户，人口3249人，男女分别为1637人和1612人。全村辖葛坑、湖书、长徐三个自然村，村中的居民有陈、黄、徐三个姓氏，均为汉族。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，葛坑村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。2021年4月，村子获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。同年12月，又被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。2024年6月，列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
