葛坑镇位于福建省泉州市德化县北部，北与尤溪县毗邻，东接杨梅乡，西与汤头乡交界。[1][2] 镇内的香林寺创建于五代，下玲、湖头等村分布着宋代至清代的古窑址，辛亥革命后在龙漈村组织保安会的苏亿也出生于此。[4][5][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代和明代，葛坑一带属常平乡杨梅中团。[1] 清康熙十八年（1679年）编入梅中里，葛坑村即在其中。[3] 1984年改为葛坑乡；2000年至2001年间乡改为镇，百度百科作2001年撤乡建镇，博雅地名网的村页作2000年。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇内村庄海拔相差较大，龙塔村在400米左右，富地村在800多米，葛坑村为860米。[11][12][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

香林寺位于湖头村贵湖山下，原名湖山寺。据德化县人民政府网站所载，它建成于后周显德二年（955年），创建者是泉州开元寺的释守珍，他带着弟子向信众募资兴建；宋天圣元年改名西林寺，天圣二年改为香林寺。[6][9] 1995年德化县人民政府将其列为县级文物保护单位，2021年又列入第六批县级文物保护单位名单。[4][6]

大正寨位于大正村的一座山上，海拔971米，周围是陡峭的崖壁，上山只有一条窄窄的石路，历来易于据守。[8][10] 普查名录将其列为清代建造的一般不可移动文物。[5]

普查名录中，葛坑古街（葛坑村）、龙漈霸王桥（龙漈村）、漈头水尾拱桥（漈头村）、邱村厚厝堂（邱村村）等为清代建造，龙塔凤翔堂旧址（龙塔村）、下玲钟英堂（下玲村）、湖头三德堂旧址（湖头村）也列在其中，都属一般不可移动文物。[5]

镇内共有窑址10处，下玲村5处，湖头村3处，葛坑村与大岭村各1处，多为清代遗存，湖头的阿腊窑和下仓尾窑为宋代。[5]

著名人物[edit]

苏亿（1880年—1915年），字书万，龙漈村人，清末民初的地方武装首领。[7] 宣统三年（1911年）武昌起义后，他在龙漈村美洋漈成立保安会，被推为会总。[7][13] 1915年在福州遇害。[7]
