东山村位于上涌镇北部、九仙山下。东面连着下涌村，西面与中洋、门头两村隔望，南面与传豪、桂林两村相邻，北面的汤头乡福山村与之接壤，离乡政府约12公里[1]。全村面积3.58平方千米，辖3个自然村[1]。1999年底有123户534人[1]。2026年1月，县政府批复撤销东山村民委员会，并入新设的伴林村[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地称东胜寨保，解放后归桂林乡管辖。1961年分出，成立东山大队；1985年大队撤销后，改设为东山村委会[1]。
