门头村位于上涌镇西北部，离乡政府约11公里。北面是北山，与汤头乡交界；南侧为九仙山，东边紧挨东山村，西边接下村，地势是天然的小盆地[1]。全村面积5.19平方千米，1999年底有179户861人[1]。村名因旧时为官道、为通往尤溪的门户而得[1]。2026年1月，县政府批复撤销门头村民委员会，并入新设的伴林村[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代归汤泉里桂林社，民国初依清制，1935年划入桂涌乡的门头保。1950年隶属第四区桂林乡，1956年并入星峰高级社，其中设有门头中队。1958年，此处改设门头大队，隶属上涌公社[1]。1984年改设门头村委会，隶属上涌乡；2001年以后撤乡建镇，改称上涌镇门头村[1]。解放初曾设门头乡，后与桂林村合为桂林乡[1]。

村中历代出过人才，清代有举人赖其瑛、赖锦寨等[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村庄入选「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」，主导产业为德化梨[1]。2021年12月，村庄获认定为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级“一村一品”专业村（乡镇）」，主导产业为德化梨[1]。2025年5月，入选「2025年泉州市乡村“五个美丽”整村打造培育名单」[1]。
