中洋村位于九仙山北麓，与大铭乡接壤，地处原桂林片的中部，是原桂林乡公所与红星高级社的驻地，距县城56公里[1][2]。全村面积1.31平方千米，1999年底有164户640人[2]。村名由位于桂林片中部而得[2]。村中的英显庙为县级文物保护单位[5]。2026年1月，县政府批复撤销中洋村民委员会，并入新设的伴林村[3][4]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋明时期此地属进城乡汤泉团，清代归汤泉里桂林社，民国初沿清制。1935年并入桂涌乡桂林保，1950年隶属第四区桂林乡，1956年并入星峰高级社[2]。1958年设中洋大队，隶属上涌公社。1966年曾与下村合并为红村大队，1980年重新分出，仍称中洋大队。1984年改设中洋村委会，隶属上涌乡；此后撤乡建镇，改称上涌镇中洋村[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

英显庙位于村中心，俗称“王宫”，据百度百科始建于宋代，供奉的是宋代张姓兄弟二人，两人在绍定三年（1230年）因防御汀州之寇而被封侯王[5]。该庙1991年列为德化县文物保护单位[5]。

物产与历史[edit]

村里主产优质大米、水果和茶叶。境内有锰铁矿、瓷土矿资源，并有明代瓷窑遗迹[1]。村中的桂林小学前身为1928年留日学者赖雄西创办的华山书院[1]。
