桂格村位于上涌镇西北部，与云路、传豪、桂林、西溪等村相邻，并与大铭乡大铭村、赤水镇铭爱村毗连[1][2]。全村面积13.29平方千米，辖6个自然村[1][2]。村名据博雅地名网，因村址位于桂林村之前，那里有一处称为“涌岭格”的山格[2]。2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

唐代此地为桂格堡，唐玄宗年间仙游县人郑二公在此开基定居[1][2]。1961年改为桂格大队，此后改设村委会，博雅地名网与百度百科对年份的记载不同，分别为1984年和1985年[1][2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的桂格寨又称五保寨，是唐代始建的古山寨，明嘉靖年间村民曾在此抵御倭寇[1]。九仙山东侧的灵鹫岩寺，据博雅地名网属于本村范围，该寺为县级文物保护单位[2]。

荣誉与产业[edit]

2021年6月，村庄入选「福建省第四批省级传统村落」[2]。2021年12月，被认定为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」[1]。2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[2]。2024年10月，村庄被确定为「泉州市2024年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，2025年11月被认定为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」，均以黑米为主导产业[2]。
