云路村在上涌镇最南端，黄井村在其东侧，西面连接桂格村，南面与西溪村隔望，距县城46公里。全村面积4.46平方千米，辖4个自然村[1]。村名原作“下路”，因忌讳“下”字而改为“云路”[1]。1999年全村有345户1430人[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地属常平乡上涌团，明代改属常平乡下涌团，清代归梅上里下涌社。民国初依清制，后于1935年增设涌洋保，1950年又设立云路乡，隶属第四区。1956年组建远景高级社，1958年设云路大队并入上涌公社。1984年起改设云路村民委员会，隶属上涌乡；2001年后随撤乡建镇更名为上涌镇云路村[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村子地处低山丘陵之间，海拔760米，气候为亚热带型，平均气温约18摄氏度。村中一条小河贯穿，地势平坦处较多，四周群山环抱[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。
