吉岭村位于赤水镇西南部，村域土地总面积9.3平方千米，下辖后溪坑、北洋、南洋、寨兜4个自然村落。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村中有一座山岭，是通往邻村的必经之地，村民取吉祥如意之意为名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，此地归德化县新化里的吉山社管辖；1950年，此地被编入德化县第五区，称吉岭村。[4]

1958年，吉岭改为赤水人民公社下的一个大队；1961年分出，另设吉岭大队；1984年10月改制，成为赤水乡吉岭村；1992年7月乡制撤销，本村随之改称赤水镇吉岭村，并设立村委会。[4]

1998年和1999年，村被泉州市定为贫困村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

尖山上的龙峰岩寺为清代县级文物保护单位，博雅地名网载有此寺。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

2024年10月，泉州市把吉岭村列为2024年度市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为佛手瓜。[1]
