湖岭村位于赤水镇多狮峰东麓，村内分为湖岭洋、虎头山、黄山寨、凤霞与牛林棋5个自然角落，村域土地总面积11.3平方千米。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村民建居于地势平坦、状如湖面的岭脚，村名因此而来。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代及民国初期此地属德化县汤泉里；民国二十三年（1934年）编查保甲，划入第三区赤水联保。[4]

1950年划归第五区赤水乡，成为湖岭村；1955年设湖岭乡，1958年并入赤水人民公社，1961年另建湖岭大队。1984年改制后称湖岭村，属赤水乡；1992年7月乡制撤销，本村改隶赤水镇，并设立村委会。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的巡检寨碑及龙兴宫为县级文物保护单位，年代为明。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予湖岭村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
