苏坂村位于赤水镇东部戴云山下，村域土地总面积4.7平方千米，村内有当洋、苏坂洋、草池、东溪等自然村。[1][2]

村名的来历是村民多为苏姓，村落建居于缓坡之上。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年以前，此处是新化里李山社之下的苏坂坊；1934年划入德化县第三区国安联保，称苏坂保；1937年归赤水乡，仍称苏坂保。[4]

1950年设苏坂村，1951年隶属第五区；1958年10月并入赤水人民公社，1961年分出成立苏坂大队。[4]

1984年起，此地为赤水乡下的苏坂村；1992年7月，乡级建制取消、改设镇，此村归赤水镇，村委会随之设立。[4]

1935年，部分村民迁居国外，据博雅地名网，其后人有居于马来西亚的。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，苏坂村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，授予机关为福建省爱卫办。[1]

2025年3月，苏坂村被认定为「2024年度德化县乡村发展工作机制进步村」。[1]
