湖坂村属德化县水口镇，镇人民政府即设在本村，村址靠近仙游、永泰两县交界处，海拔250米，辖7个自然村。[1]

村中黄、苏、陈、肖、杨、林、李、涂、张等姓村民共721户，村民分住于7个自然村，其中有摘锦、谢地、西峰格等。博雅地名网记全村为2557人，2009年刊登的村情介绍则记为2582人。[1][2]

全村土地面积24.9平方千米，耕地合计2045亩，其中水田占1899亩，旱地为146亩。油茶1260亩、毛竹1824亩之外，果园面积为5029亩。[1]
水口湖山林场为1988年由本村与县林业局合资设立的，管理面积达10103亩。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
岱仙瀑布位于村内摘锦一带，东为岱仙瀑布，西为油漏瀑布。村中另有千年大铁树等文物景观。[1]
