枣坑村位于南埕镇东部的石牛山腰，东面与仙游县西苑乡一带接壤，南面毗邻龙门滩镇朱地村，北面以分水洋与水口镇榜上村分界。[1] 村名的来历是村民沿种有大量枣树的坑洼之地定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地早先属归德乡的惠民里，清时归坊里的茅岐社，民国时期划入碧霞乡。[1]

1950年归第二区碧霞乡管辖，1955年设枣坑乡，属第七区；1958年10月设枣坑大队，隶霞碧公社。1961年再设枣坑大队，改属高漈公社，1965年归南埕公社。1984年改设枣坑村民委员会，1991年乡改镇。[1]

1942年至1948年间，地下工作者杨宗焕、郑静、林金榜先后到村中，以教书为掩护宣传革命。1948年底，解放军在村中组织成立农会，有25人参加。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积64.13平方千米，海拔800多米，地广人稀，森林覆盖率高。矿产以紫砂瓷土为主，水利资源丰富。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有龙钻瀑布、龙啸瀑布，以及石壶殿等景致。[2]

枣坑钟灵堂旧址列入「第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录」，属一般不可移动文物。[3]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，枣坑村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
