南埕镇是福建省泉州市德化县辖的12个镇之一，位于县境东部，东接水口镇，西连雷峰镇，南邻龙门滩镇，北抵桂阳乡。^[1]^[4] 镇内列入县级文物保护单位的有天平城遗址、大洲宫和华山宫三处。^[6] 截至2020年11月1日的第七次全国人口普查，全镇常住人口为2367人。^[5]

历史沿革[edit]

据《太原郭氏族谱》的序文，南埕四周高山环抱，浐溪与芹溪在此汇合，景致可比蓝田种玉；方言中“蓝田”与“南埕”读音相近，遂写作南埕。^[1]

南宋景定五年（1264年），陈瑜从开封避乱，在龙山（今连山村一带）开基，是史载最早开发南埕的氏族之一；阮姓随后到梓垵定居。^[2]

元代南埕属德化县永宁乡清太里。明代实行屯垦，外来军士留居当地，此后各地移民陆续迁入，形成村落。^[2]

清代南埕旧属清泰里，有登龙、南埕、肖坑等社，肖坑社后来改为奎光社。民国时期各村分归西南、水口、瑞上、碧霞四个乡管辖。^[3]

1950年代，南埕一带的区乡建制多次调整。1965年，高漈、许厝两公社的部分村庄合并组建南埕公社；1984年改设南埕乡，1991年4月撤乡设镇。^[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域在德化县东部，西侧靠近戴云山一带，东侧地势抬升至石牛山西北一带，多数地段海拔300至850米。东西向长13.75千米，南北向长22.5千米，全镇土地约241.05平方千米。^[2]

人口[edit]

第七次全国人口普查登记的2020年11月1日零时，南埕镇常住人口为2367人，占全县常住人口的0.71%。^[5]

经济[edit]

2019年，全镇有工业企业12个，营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店或超市3个。^[8]

名胜古迹[edit]

列入县级文物保护单位的有三处。南埕村的天平城遗址属「苏十万抗元斗争遗址」的一部分，时代为元。^[6]

同村的大洲宫为元代古建筑。苏十万是南宋时期抗元的英雄，宫庙即为纪念他而立。苏十万于1280年阵亡，元朝封他为「武烈苏王」，乡人遂立宫奉祀。该宫2021年被列为第四批县级文物保护单位。^[9]^[6]

连山村的华山宫始建于宋代，现存建筑为清代，2021年列入第五批县级文物保护单位。^[10]^[6]

第三次全国文物普查的不可移动文物名录中，南埕一带还收入了清代瓷窑遗址，如南埕村的垄窑、岭窑和蟠龙村的岐窑，均列为一般不可移动文物。^[7]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，南埕镇于2011年4月获环境保护部授予「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号，2021年12月被命名为「2021年度福建省森林城镇」，2022年12月获命名为「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」。^[1]
