瑞坂村位于雷峰镇西北部的戴云山下，海拔732米，距镇政府9公里，距县城24公里。[1]

村中汉族与畲族并居，陶瓷业为主要产业，兼营林业和种养业。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：相传村子曾三次遭洪水侵袭，故名水流坂、水路坂，后谐音雅化为瑞坂。[4]

瑞坂始设于明代。1944年属雷峰乡瑞坂保；1953年至1958年建瑞上乡；1958年起，村属雷峰人民公社的瑞坂大队，直到1983年；1984年改为雷峰乡瑞坂村，1992年改乡为镇，村名随之为雷峰镇瑞坂村。[3]

2016年，村民搬迁至现址。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村域土地总面积约27.1平方千米。林地合计33950亩，内含工业原料林23112亩与5000亩毛竹林（年份未注）。[2]

全村分为一中、二中、三中、四中四个片区，下辖9个自然村落，共20个村民组。[2]

人口民族[edit]

1999年时，全村有540户，2468人（其中畲族120人）。据记载，畲族先于汉族迁入，汉族则在明代陆续定居。[2]

经济[edit]

1944年，陈其太等人在中洋头祖厝创办陶瓷厂，后发展为瑞坂瓷厂；1993年合办瑞龙瓷厂，实行股份制。村中陶瓷业工人700多人（年份未注）。[2]

1991年引进袋栽香菇，此后香菇成为农民收入的主要来源之一。村中水电站建于1972年，另有草编厂、机砖厂各一家。[2]

著名人物[edit]

陈其太，1990年任德化县政协副主席，是瑞坂陶瓷厂的创办人之一。[2]
