长基村地处戴云山麓东南部，海拔约500米，下辖4个自然村落。[1][2]

村中的石城是南宋末义军领袖苏十万的出生地，他又被元朝封为「武烈苏王」。[2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋末年，苏十万在石城一带组织义军抗击元军，持续数年。[2][5]

宋明时期，长基属永宁乡清泰里；清代属奎光社。[3]

明成化六年（1470年），张英迁入此地，建石龟堂，原称基平，后取长远开基之意改称长基。[4]

清康熙年间（1674年）有人开基石城。[2]

1961年另立长基大队。1984年村名定为长基村，归雷峰乡；1992年改乡设镇后，称雷峰镇长基村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村中沟沿狭窄，分布形状不规则。土地总面积18.74平方千米，其中耕地1317.9亩，林地23605亩（其中果园1048亩）（年份未注）。[2]

1980年，德化县授予长基村「万亩林」称号。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村340户1598人（年份未注）。[2]

经济[edit]

村中先后建成长潭、双港、溪心、长溪等电站，总装机1700千瓦。石城竹木加工厂生产茶盘底座，此外有打包带厂等企业。[2]

著名人物[edit]

苏十万又名一侯，字万仁（生卒1232至1280年），南宋宝祐四年（1256年）中进士，后任吉州刺史。[6]
