肖坑村沿省道103线两侧分布，东边与南埕镇接壤，西面离县城20公里，行路方便。[1][2]

村中以王姓为主，戏班与藤草编织等手工业是村中的传统。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

肖坑开发始于唐末，原先的居民姓肖，故名肖坑。明代洪武年间，王氏迁入定居，此后村中以王姓为多。[2][4]

宋明两代，肖坑归永宁乡清泰里；清朝设有肖坑社。1935年，此地编入第二区西南乡的肖坑保；新中国成立初，改称第二区的肖坑乡。[2]

1958年，这里成立肖坑大队，归雷峰公社；1984年10月为雷峰乡的肖坑村；1992年改乡为镇，村名成为雷峰镇肖坑村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村域土地面积11.71平方千米，其中耕地1194亩，林地13929亩（年份未注）。木材蓄积约3万多立方米，竹林3000多亩。[2]

人口民族[edit]

村中有256户，1110人，散居于3个自然村落与10个村民小组之中（年份未注）。[2]

经济[edit]

林业是村财收入的主要来源；企业有石材、竹木和农副产品加工，另有藤草编织、竹器等家庭手工业。[2]

文化[edit]

村中戏班自清光绪年间创办，延续至今。现有高甲戏剧团2个，木偶戏剧团2班。[2]

民国时期的王土碧、王捷登等人，为肖坑的知名人士。[2]
