潘祠村是雷峰镇下辖的行政村，位于德化中南部，距德化城关约15公里，分为3个自然村落。[1][2]

村名与村中的蟠龙堂有关，村中出过罗浪等人物。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自村中一座蟠龙堂，它是潘氏所建的祠堂。[4]

民国年间，村子先后归瑞上乡与西南乡管辖。此前，宋明两代这里属于永宁乡嵩平里，清代则是新化里的一部分，称李山。[3]

1958年，村内设立潘祠大队，归雷峰公社管辖。1984年，此地是雷峰乡的潘祠村；1992年，雷峰乡改设雷峰镇，村名随之成为雷峰镇潘祠村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村域土地总面积7.75平方千米，其中耕地1041.7亩，林地11626亩，果园150亩（年份未注）。林业与矿产资源较多，矿藏以瓷土矿为主。[2]

1976年以来，村民开发荒山种植杉、松、竹1千多亩。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村262户、总人口1160人，男性591人，女性569人，有劳动力522个（年份未注）。[2]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，种植水稻、甘薯和蔬菜，经济作物有桃、李、柑桔和茶等。[2]

1969年兴建溪心大桥。村中电厂原装机40千瓦，1998年提高到160千瓦。[2]

著名人物[edit]

罗浪，原名罗南传，1920年生于潘祠村，后任中国人民解放军军乐团首任团长。[5]

民国时期的文人罗信尔，也出自此村。[2]
