朱紫村是雷峰镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，距德化县城约6公里，是全镇离县城最近的村庄。[1][2]

村民以林姓为主。红砖烧制是村中长期的支柱产业，近年又发展蔬菜、水果种植和美蛙养殖。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：元朝末年，村民林德懋自莆田朱紫迁来定居，村因此得名。[1]

1961年6月，当地由五个自然村（朱紫、漈上、半山区等）合编为一个生产大队，归雷峰人民公社管辖。1984年11月，它成为雷峰乡下的朱紫村，1992年随乡改镇，更名为雷峰镇朱紫村。[3]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网记全村230户，人口974人，分为7个村民小组；全村土地总面积10.14平方千米，其中耕地1136亩，山地14500亩（年份未注）。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中以林姓为主，另有温、张等姓；林姓先人从惠安十里迁来。村中林氏宗祠（坪中堂）于明代重修。[2]

经济[edit]

村中遍地红土，村民以红土烧制建筑红砖，全村有20余家红砖生产厂家。近年着力发展蔬菜、水果种植，并养殖美蛙。[2]

1998年，朱紫村被确定为全市百个新村建设示范村之一。村部于2000年投入使用。[2]
