碧坑村位于龙门滩镇东部，距镇政府约11公里。[1] 村中建有碧卿宫，且林木青翠，村名由此而来。[1] 村落四面环山，溪流环绕，形成至今已有500多年。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时期，该地属坊里文兴社。民国初年沿用清制，1935年编入碧坑保，隶属碧霞乡。[1]

1958年10月改属霞碧公社碧坑大队，1961年单独设为碧坑大队，1984年设碧坑村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

1999年末全村有205户861人。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2015年10月，碧坑村被列入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1] 2016年12月，村落又进入「第四批中国传统村落」名录。[1][3]

村内保留古民居、古石磨和苏潭古寨等历史遗存，主要作物有马铃薯、袋栽香菇和水果等。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的碧坑桥亭，经县里列为三级文物保护单位。[1]

本村的粹美桥及清代桥碑属清代古建筑，为县级文物保护单位。[1]
