霞碧村位于龙门滩镇西北部，东邻碧坑村和湖景村，西接石室村。[1] 村民聚居在山谷之中，四周山色苍翠，朝霞与暮霭缭绕，村因此得名。[1] 村子曾是龙门滩镇政府的驻地。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，该地属归德乡坊阳夏碧；清代属在坊里茅岐庄。民国时期隶属碧霞乡，村亦称碧霞村。[3]

1949年后先后归第二区、第七区管辖，1958年10月成立霞碧人民公社，村改为霞碧大队；1984年10月改称霞碧村。[3]

2015年村委会迁往新址办公。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村域土地面积11.97平方千米。村内有腊石矿，其中碧潭与安格两处腊石矿的纯度达80％以上。[2]

人口民族[edit]

截至1999年末，村中住户491户，居民2100人。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有霞碧宫，以及历史较久的桥亭。村中一株树龄约300年的桂花树王，在全县也不多见。[2]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，霞碧村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。[2][4]
