东山村位于德化县三班镇东部，离德化城关11公里，东南方向与永春县接壤。村名取自村民建居于东侧山麓的地势，村内亦称东山洋村。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

族谱记载，此地的郑氏族人迁入于元末。清代，村地属硕杰社；民国时期编为东山保。[1][2]

1950年至1954年间，这里与泗滨、硕杰等地合组为三班乡；1960年成为三班大队的东山点，1984年冬改设东山洋村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积5.29平方千米，东南、东北两侧地势较高，中部和西部偏低，四周群山环抱，大云溪流经村境。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

1999年末，全村人口2441人。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以种植与养殖为主，陶瓷业是支柱产业。[2]

荣誉方面：东山村在2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月三次出现在淘宝村名单上；同年10月，省农业农村厅把本村认定为乡村治理示范村镇（第二批）。[1]

古窑址[edit]

  • 东山洋新启寨窑址与东山洋乌鲁坪窑址，列入2012年公布的不可移动文物名录。[3]
