世科村是福建省泉州市德化县浔中镇下辖的行政村，位于县城关西部，紧靠凤池街，浐溪从村中蜿蜒而过。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

明清时期当地因科举登榜者众多，村名由此而来。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

1381年（洪武十四年）此地属归德乡，1412年（永乐十年）改属坊隅，清代归在坊里。[3]

民国初称世科乡。1943年全县并为12个乡镇，本村归锦福乡驷蒲保。[3][4]

1958年改称世安大队，1976年湘安自然村并入邻村，此后恢复世科村的村名，1984年改为村。[3][4]

2014年搬迁。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

驷高石塔建于清嘉庆年间，石砌实心，高14米，共5层，呈六角形，每层雕有凤鸟；县内较完整的石塔仅存三座。[2][6]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，村获得泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」称号。[1]
