浔中村位于德化县浔中镇东部，属城关东侧的城郊地带，1985年自原浔中大队分出设村。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时此地归德乡灵化里；明代改隶归德乡坊隅；清代归在坊里的瑶台社。[3]

1985年，村以浐溪为界分设：溪北为本村，溪南另设一村委会。1991年浔中乡改设为镇，本村随之。[3][4]

1999年有996户3512人。[2] 本村地处城关，流动人口较多，姓氏以林、曾、庄、李、郭等为多。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

缨溪宫位于本村，明代始建，1991年11月列为德化县第五批文物保护单位。[5][6]

荣誉[edit]

第六届全国文明村镇的称号于2020年11月授予本村。[1] 福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月评定本村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
