龙湖村位于仙夹镇东部，村域属晋江上游流域，处于北溪源头，距镇中心约3公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名「龙湖」取自龙峰的「龙」字与莲湖的「湖」字。[1]

1984年，大队改为村，各村所属的自然村落不变，即今日的龙湖村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

据2021年村情简介，村内最高处海拔760米，山多地少，耕地1850亩，山地3805亩，村民主要依靠水稻、蔬菜等农业生产。[2]

文化[edit]

龙湖村为传统革命老区村，获评福建省「千村整治、百村示范」村与中级版「绿盈乡村」。[2]
