洋坪村是苏坑镇东南部的行政村，与吾峰镇相邻，海拔约400米，距镇区约10公里，距永春县城约25公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子原称杨鹏，传说宋代中叶有人迁来定居，此地山清水秀，当时的人们以为有仙人骑大鹏经过，故名。民国年间改用谐音，写作洋坪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代本村属永春州二十二都，民国年间归嵩山乡，1949年前属常安乡的扬鹏保。1949年后仍属嵩山乡，1961年另立洋坪大队，1984年改为洋坪村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植水稻和芦柑，其中以永春佛手最有特色。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，本村入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为2021年福建省卫生村。2024年10月，本村被确定为泉州市2024年度市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为佛手茶。[1]
