库湖村位于桂洋镇东北部，距镇区8公里，海拔在700至850米之间，全村总面积4.8平方公里。[1]

村名的来历是村民生活艰苦，又因地形如湖泊，故称库湖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代属四都。1949年以前，此地归植洋乡管辖，并属新金保；新中国成立后成为第二区新金乡的一部分，1958年划入锦斗公社的新金大队。[1]

1961年，村从新金大队中独立出来，设为库湖大队，归桂洋公社管理。1984年，改称库湖村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，库湖村被认定为泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
