东关镇位于福建省泉州市永春县东南部，境内以山地为主，芦柑和茶叶是镇内的主要农产品。镇中有省级文物保护单位东关桥，全县两个少数民族行政村南美回族村和金城畲族村也都在本镇。[1][2][4][6]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，镇名取自此地地势险要、处在永春东部关口的说法。[1] 镇域原系省属北硿华侨茶果场所在地。[1]

当地于1958年建立华侨农场，用来安置归国华侨及侨眷，场部位于东关一带。[1][3]

1998年9月，农场改制，经福建省人民政府批准组建东关镇，东平镇的东关、溪南、东美、美升、外碧五个村同时划入。[1][2]

镇里获得的荣誉有：2012年12月，环境保护部授予「国家级生态乡镇」称号（2010—2011年度）；2020年12月，福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」；2021年2月，入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

镇域面积的记载不一：博雅地名网记为59.73平方千米，百度百科记为60.86平方千米，两者均未注明测定年份。[1][3] 镇内属亚热带海洋性季风气候。[3]

人口与民族[edit]

百度百科记载的户籍人口数为14803人，统计时点为2019年末。[3]

据永春县人民政府2025年的统计，全县两个少数民族村都在东关镇，即南美回族村与金城畲族村。[4]

经济[edit]

镇里农业以芦柑和茶叶为主。[2] 永春水仙茶的两大主产地是湖洋镇和东关镇，东平、五里街、石鼓等镇次之。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

东关桥位于东美村境内的湖洋溪上，又名通仙桥。清光绪元年（1875年）曾经重建，此桥的始建年代则可追溯到南宋绍兴十五年（1145年）。[6][7] 1929年由当地人重修。全桥以四墩五孔的结构横跨溪流，全长85米，桥宽5米；桥墩作船形，墩下垫以大松木。[6][7] 明弘治十三年（1500年）起桥上建有木屋。[6][7] 1991年列为省级文物保护单位。[7] 2016年台风和洪水冲毁中段二十多米桥面，次年修缮完成。[7]
