炉地村在玉斗镇西部，距县城40公里，与安溪县接壤[2]。村名来历是明代此地林木茂密，外来人在此设炉冶铁，林木砍尽后人家渐多，遂称炉地[1]。全村下辖7个自然村，有911户3885人（2022年）[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
明代，村域属永春县五都[1]。新中国成立后，此地先设区公所，其名称有锦斗、桂洋、坑仔口、玉斗等，后合并改为玉坑乡[1]。1958年9月，成立玉斗人民公社炉地大队；“文化大革命”期间设玉斗管委会；1984年10月机构改革，改设炉地村民委员会[1]。
地理环境[edit]
平均海拔602米，炉地寨自然村海拔912米[2]。土地总面积9.71平方公里，耕地2436亩，山地11198亩[2]。356国道沿村东侧通过，村道094穿村而过，距下洋高速出口26公里[2]。
经济[edit]
茶叶为村里的经济支柱，盛产佛手茶[1]。2021年12月，炉地村获评「泉州市2019-2021年度市级一村一品专业村（乡镇）」，主导产业为佛手茶[1]。2020年12月，村被列入「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产业为佛手茶[1]。
