杏村是坑仔口镇下辖的行政村，地处镇域西南部的高山顶上，与牛姆林旅游区毗邻，是省定革命老区村，以笋干为主导产业。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据传，此地属天湖山脉，当地方言称“岩春”，明朝末年改称“杏春”，新中国成立后因读音相近，写作“杏村”。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄离县城约60公里、离镇区约17公里，平均海拔700多米，地处偏远的高山顶上。村中分为3个自然角落，另有4个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据传，明正德年间此地归属永春五都，民国时期属玉坑乡。[1]

1958年并入锦斗区景洋乡；1961年坑仔口人民公社成立，此地定为杏村大队。到1984年，公社变为乡，大队随之改成杏村村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

笋干是村里的主导产业，村中既有耕地和山地，也有一定面积的茶园。[1]

2021年12月，泉州市把杏村列为2019至2021年度市级「一村一品」专业村（乡镇）。[1]
