地名由来[edit]
据称，始祖自仙游迁来，村内一条大溪自北向南流过，村落散布在溪流两岸，原名“溪口”，后以方言谐音改为“魁斗”。[1]
地理环境[edit]
北面与玉西村相邻，南面则与安溪县剑斗镇接壤；东侧与玉斗镇的玉美村为邻，西侧是福地村。村庄距县城四十余公里。[1]
省道306线从村子东北侧绕过，村内有小学、幼儿园、卫生所和农民休闲健身公园等设施。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国元年（1912年），此地归玉坑乡魁斗保。新中国成立后，村子先后隶属第一区、第二区、第三区、玉坑区和锦斗区。1956年5月，成立玉版乡魁斗农业合作社。[1]
1958年7月起划入锦斗人民公社。到1961年，坑仔口人民公社设立，本村随之定为魁斗大队。到1984年，人民公社变为乡，大队随之改成魁斗村委会。[1]
2002年6月，县农村信用社联合社把该村评为「信用村」。2004年2月，泉州市委、市政府评该村为「宽裕型文明村」。[2]
2024年10月，泉州市把魁斗村列入2024年度的市级「一村一品」专业村名单，产业以铁观音为主。[1]
经济[edit]
村里以铁观音茶为主，茶叶加工厂数量众多。水稻和蔬菜也有种植。[2]
