诗元村是坑仔口镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区拓展的重要地带，以茶叶为主导产业，村中的诗元新田堂是县级文物保护单位。[1][4]

地名由来[edit]

相传林姓先人初到此地，见四面青山环抱，景致宜人，恰似世外桃源，便取名“青园”。新中国成立后，改称诗元。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子坐落在百子尖下，东与玉斗镇玉美村相接，南面临坑仔口溪，地势依山傍水。西与玉西村相连，南邻魁斗村，北接锦斗镇长坑村。[1]

村庄距县城约42公里，地处县境西部。[3]

村庄处在镇区拓展的重要地带，地理上有发展的便利。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，此地为宣和乡福德里的五都之地。1912年起划归玉坑乡。[1]

1956年5月，此地的农业合作社名为玉版乡诗元农业合作社。新中国成立后，村子曾先后隶属第一至第三区、玉坑区和锦斗区，1958年7月起归锦斗人民公社。1961年，坑仔口人民公社成立，诗元改为大队。1984年，公社变为乡，大队改成诗元村委会。[1]

改革开放以来，村里的生活水平逐步提高，到2000年前后基本达到小康。2004年，泉州市委与市政府授予该村「宽裕型文明村」称号。[1][2]

2020年12月公布的2019年度名单中，诗元村入选福建省「一村一品」示范村（茶叶）。2021年12月，泉州市把诗元村列为2019至2021年度市级「一村一品」专业村（乡镇），产业方向是茶叶。[1][3]

经济[edit]

茶叶是村里的主导产业，村中茶园面积较大，有多家茶叶加工厂。据百度百科，村内建有永春县最大的茶叶专业交易市场。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的诗元新田堂为明清古建筑，列为县级文物保护单位。该建筑于2020年12月23日由县政府公布为第六批县级文物保护单位。[4][5]
