桃美村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东端，离镇中心约2.5公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子旧称排尾。1961年从桃源大队划出时，取「桃源」与「排尾」各一字，定名桃美。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋至清代，此地属十八都。1949年以前归湖洋乡桃源保；新中国成立后，先后隶属第六区与第十区，村中设桃源乡。[1]
1958年，它成为湖洋公社桃源大队的一部分；1961年，桃美大队从桃源大队分立出来；1984年以后，名称定为桃美村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民种植水稻、蔬菜、芦柑和茶叶，男子在外经商，女子在家进行副业生产。[2]
