美莲村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的中下端，距镇中心约5公里，与桃源村、清白村相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名由美坂、西莲两个自然村各取一部分联合而成，美莲之名即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，这里是十九都善政乡清白里之下的茂田境。民国时期划归湖洋乡；新中国成立后隶属第六区清白乡，1957年归入曙光社。[1]

1958年公社化后，美莲成为湖洋公社桃源大队的一部分；1961年另立美莲大队，1984年10月起称美莲村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，美莲村获评「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2021年12月，它被确定为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为茶叶。[1]
