清白村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西南一带，与溪东村、锦凤村毗连，也是湖洋镇的文化中心。[1]
地名由来[edit]
宋代此地为苏、庄、白三姓聚居之处。刘氏从安溪迁入后，为图吉利而称清白；元代白姓村民居多，地名便由白姓而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地先后为苏、庄、白等姓居住，其后庄氏迁往泉州，苏、白两姓也逐渐衰落。宋代曾划为善政乡桃源里，宋至清代属十八都。[1]
1949年以前，它归湖洋乡清白保；新中国成立后，又归第六区、第十区的清白乡。1957年下半年，它与桃源、桃美、美莲组成「曙光社」；1958年公社化时并入湖洋公社桃源大队，1961年分出为清白大队，1984年后称清白村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
村内设有高中、初中、小学和幼儿园，博雅地名网称该村为湖洋镇的文化中心。[1]
2020年12月，清白村获评「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2021年2月，它入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
