吴岭村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南方向，距镇中心约7公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传明代有一支军队来此垦荒，他们把五面旗子插在五座山岭上，临走时旗子拔不起来，将士便留下定居，地名初称「五旗岭」，又称吾旗岭。[1]
此后因居民多为吴姓，「吾旗岭」逐渐写作「吴岭」，一直沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋至清代，村子隶属十九都。1949年以前，它归溪西保与湖洋乡仙溪保管辖；新中国成立后，先后归第六区与第十区的仙溪乡。[1]
1958年，村子并入湖洋公社仙溪大队。1961年，仙溪大队分出一部分另立吾旗岭大队，1984年以后称吴岭村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中主要种植水稻、蔬菜、葡萄和芦柑，据博雅地名网记述，男子多在外经商，女子在家从事副业生产。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年9月，吴岭村入选「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」；2022年10月，获评「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2022年12月，获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
2023年2月，吴岭村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2024年2月，它成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
