霞林村是福建省泉州市永春县东平镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西部，与桃城镇相邻，距县城约5公里。村名的来历是：这里地势较低，林姓族人居多，读音相近，因而得名「霞林」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地是东平乡下的霞林保；之后改为霞林乡。1958年才设立霞林大队。[2]

1984年起定名为东平镇霞林村，村里设有霞林村委会。[1][2]
