茂霞村是福建省泉州市永春县岵山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域中北部，岵山镇人民政府驻地在本村。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名取自后头寨（又称福茂寨）与霞奏两个自然村各一字，二寨合并为一村。[1]

明代隶属永春十三都，民国时隶属小姑区。解放初期并入岵山区的茂霞乡；1958年9月编为茂霞生产大队，归岵山人民公社；1984年10月改为茂霞村，村里设立村委会。[1]

建筑与古迹[edit]

福茂寨建于明代，为县级文物保护单位。凤凰网报道称，建寨始祖陈员渠在明嘉靖年间于此建寨。[1][3]

敦福堂建于民国，为县级文物保护单位，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2012年12月列入第一批中国传统村落名录。2015年10月，农业部推介茂霞村为「2015年中国最美休闲乡村」；2016年1月入选「第三批美丽宜居村庄示范」；2019年12月列入第二批「国家森林乡村」名单；2020年12月被认定为福建省第一批「高级版绿盈乡村」；2022年12月被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1][4]
