大卿村位于石鼓镇西北部，距镇政府约7公里，属革命老区支点村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
早先境内有大坑溪流过，先人在此定居，取名大坑，后改雅称大卿。[1]
解放前此地属桃源乡的大卿保，解放后归蓬壶区。公社化后，1958年划入石鼓公社，名为大卿大队，直到1984年10月才改为村民委员会。[1]
