卿园村位于石鼓镇中部，省道305线贯穿全村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据黄姓谱牒，此地两山汇聚、土地肥沃，可免饥荒，遂称卿园。[1]

黄姓于宋嘉定年间在此立业，称卿园里，张姓来得较晚，其余十六姓陆续迁入。元、明时为里，清时为堡，民国时称大迹保。解放前称卿园保，此后隶属第六区，为卿园乡。1958年改为卿园大队，1984年成为卿园村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的登进堂为清代建筑，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

文化[edit]

2025年11月，卿园村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1] 2025年5月，村子入选「2025年泉州市乡村“五个美丽”整村打造培育名单」。[1]

2024年2月，卿园村列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2024年10月，又被确定为「泉州市2024年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为甘蔗。[1]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，卿园村先后三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
