历史沿革[edit]
旧称张格，1961年自吾顶大队分出后另设大队，遂名培民。[1]
新中国成立前，此地与吾江、半岭同属常山乡的吾江保；此后改称吾江乡，再后又同吾顶、梅林、仙岭组成吾顶乡。1958年称吾顶大队，1961年设培民大队，1984年设培民村委会。[1]
培民村属革命老区村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有蓉镜堂、清河堂等明清古建筑。清河堂前的杏仁树为县级保护对象。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，村中列入市级「一村一品」专业村名录，名录时段为2019至2021年，主导产业为柑桔。[1]
