择水村是福建省泉州市永春县吾峰镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部，南与吾中村相邻，北与德化县交界。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名来源于公社成立、需设大队名称时：当地最缺水源，取盼水之意，遂定名择水。[1]

历代以来，此地一直以大水路为名，旧属永春廿二都。吾峰公社成立后设择水大队。[1]

荣誉[edit]

截至2013年，村内已超过泉州市宽裕型小康村标准，据百度百科，该村被列为泉州市宽裕型小康村。[2]
