延寿村位于达埔镇西部，东与蓬莱村相邻，西北与蓬壶镇接壤[1]。村名与南宋端宗的一段经历有关：端宗逃难至此，恰逢生辰，群臣祝寿，朝廷随后为寺院赐名「延寿禅寺」，村名由寺名而来[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地宋至清代隶属八都，俗称“院后”。解放前叫延寿保，之后归延清乡与延寿乡管辖；1958年组成延寿大队，1984年成立延寿村民委员会[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村域面积约5平方千米，下辖五个自然村，共12个村民小组。2010年的统计为652户、2230人[2]。
