前峰村位于达埔镇西南部，距镇政府驻地约4公里，乡村道路接入三郊线，交通便利[1]。村名来历是村址地处钱山，称钱峰，因前与钱谐音而定名前峰[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地古属里仁乡招集里，列为八都。新中国成立前为清源保延清乡一带；1958年起称前峰大队，1984年才称前峰村[1]。

村内主要有备同、内前峰、外前峰三个自然村落，村内设有前峰小学[1]。
